I’ve got just a couple weeks left and then I will officially be done with my first year of teaching! I cannot tell you how crazy that is for me.
I have talked a lot about growth this year already. But I’m going to keep talking about it as it’s still relevant. Growth is sometimes seen as a bad thing. I’ve talked before how it can be painful to grow. And that’s still true too. But growth is also really awesome.
Spring is all about growth. Flowers grow, baby animals are hatched or born, and trees get new leaves. So while growth is painful, it can also create a better and brighter place.
I’ve grown a lot this school year. I’m not the same person I was last August. My teaching abilities have gotten better, and I’m more comfortable with myself and what I’m capable of.
But growth doesn’t have a set date that it stops. I still will grow during the summer. I’ve got a lot of projects I’ve already started or ones I will be starting here soon. Many of them may seem small, but they’re all going to help me.
Growth isn’t always something big and profound. Most of the time, you have to start out small and work your way up. But that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Small progress is still progress.
I talk about growth a lot because it’s always relevant. It’s always happening, and spring is all about growth. So keep growing, not only in the spring, but always.
