Weekly Roundup time! This week I made Honey Garlic Shrimp for dinner!
Spoiler alert y’all! I have never cooked shrimp before. But I’m trying to improve my cooking skills, so I figured why not. But they turned out pretty well, and I’m pleased. Also, this sauce is seriously good!
This week’s recipe comes from Sally’s Baking Addiction. Find the recipe at https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/quick-healthy-dinner-20-minute-honey-garlic-shrimp/.
She says to let the shrimp marinate for at least 15 minutes. I did mine for about 25-30. Also, I added a dash of lime juice and more ginger than suggested. I really like how my sauce came out because of it!
I also served my shrimp on an Asian-style salad. I got a regular salad mix of lettuce, carrots, and red cabbage, and added some sliced radishes, cashews, wonton strips, a little bit of cheese, and and Asian vinaigrette! But feel free to make this your own! Check out my final product (before it was all mixed together):

Hope you enjoyed this week’s Weekly Roundup! Don’t forget to try it and let me know what you think!!
